Japar was founded in İzmir in 1986 to manufacture plastic plumbing products. Today every component of its concealed cisterns, internal mechanisms, control plates and toilet seats is made in its own facility in Ayrancılar / Torbalı.

From İzmir to 49 provinces of Türkiye.
We started in 1986 with Turkey’s first push-button top-mounted cistern; in 2003 we moved to our factory in Ayrancılar / Torbalı. Since 1 September 2026, Japar has continued manufacturing within Ercan Global.

Robot-controlled injection moulding
Robot-controlled injection machines with the latest technology produce every part, from cistern body to filling valve, to the same tolerance.
Duroplast press systems
The duroplast bodies of our toilet seats have been made on our own press lines since 2004: seats that resist scratching and yellowing, heavy and quiet to close.

Japar was founded in İzmir to manufacture plastic plumbing products. Turkey’s first push-button top-mounted cistern was produced.
Turkey’s first 80 mm dual flush concealed cistern was produced.
Turkey’s first plastic dual flush cistern was produced.
Moved to the new factory in Ayrancılar / Torbalı, İzmir.
Duroplast toilet seat production started.
KIWA certification received; a further investment raised annual capacity to 3.5 million pieces.
NF certification received.
Turkey’s first electronic concealed-cistern control plate was produced: Sense (capacitive sensor).
Turkey’s first modular front-wall glass concealed cistern solution was produced: Proglass.
Japar joined an international group.
1 September: Japar joined Ercan Global.

Every stage from raw-material intake to dispatch is monitored under the ISO 9001 quality management system. KIWA and NF certification proves, through independent bodies, that our concealed cisterns and toilet seats meet international standards.
